Wynter Gordon Opens Up On "Five Needles" EP
Comparing herself to Benjamin Button, Wynter Gordon states that she is just now rediscovering her true artistic talent. This change is shown throughout the heartfelt songs on the Queens native’s new EP, Five Needles, which uses inspiration from her life to create soulful pieces expressed by Gordon’s beautiful heart-wrenching vocals. Opening up on the album is a definite turn from her popular dance track “Dirty Talk”, as the R&B sound on each of the tracks accompanies moving instrumentals that perfectly compliment her vocals in what she called “a full on diary”. According to Gordon, this new turn in artistic direction was influenced by music legends Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell and Tracy Chapman as she slowly scales back to where she feels she needs to be as an artist.
