The Return of Chet Faker Has Begun With 'The Trouble With Us'

Australian artist Chet Faker has finally broke his silence, announcing his first album release since the 2014 debut, Built On Glass (iTunes). Written, recorded and performed all on his own, Faker has been admired greatly in the world of music and continues to provide a distinct, memorable sound that feels groovy yet timid, intimate yet relatable, and overall noteworthy. The music has carried over into most parts of the world, as he has sold out venues in five continents including three nights in NYC’s Terminal 5 and music festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella and Lollapalooza.
After his outbreak, Chet Faker kept things low-key, evidently preparing his next release and seen playing exclusive DJ sets. Today, the artist gives us something to look forward to. Work is a four track EP to be released on December 4th with support from South London-based producer Marcus Marr. Four days in the studio and four tracks later, the duo have created the next project that has been highly anticipated for years. Check out their first single release – a journey through intergalactic soul and funk – The Trouble With Us.
