Talented Team Put Together Video For Getter's "Forget It"
Whether you know Tanner Petulla, aka Getter, from his online fame and friendship with fellow viner Nick Coletti or his restless production/DJ career you know he's a natural at whatever creative venture he chooses to pursue. A little under a month ago, the artist released a music video for the song "Forget It" (feat. Oliver Tree) and it has been on repeat ever since. Musically, the track is laid back and moody. Combine that with Tree's emotional lyrics and the song proves to be a true piece of art that is also hit-worthy.
"Some things broken can't be fixed" is the caption to the video and summarizes it well. My interpretation reads as follows: a drug-addicted man, unaware of his own actions, keeps accidentally killing off clones of the person he loves but continuously creates more and more clones after one dies. Definitely some sort of symbolism going on here with the vicious life cycle and, as a whole, the video is definitely open for dissection. The team that put this together did an outstanding job at writing this dark tale.
