Ta-ku and Repeat Pattern Need 'No One Else's' Video
A tropical jungle and a bowl of goldfish later, Ta-ku and Repeat Pattern’s first output under new project brrwd is here. Mellow lo-fi beats and hauntingly soulful vocals are abound in their new video, which hopefully is a look at what is in store from this collaboration.
The creators on their new project:
brrwd is a creative label between photographers/beatmakers and friends - Repeat Pattern and Ta-ku. This next release is the beginning of a 10" series that is as much a photographic series as a music focused one. A carefully curated selection of images and dirty loops, this first release in the series is a compilation containing work by close friends and admired fellow creatives. So with a love for the tangible, the compilation will be available on both limited 10" Vinyl & CD.
The video is a beautifully abstract look into a relationship, using strikingly contrasting actors and sets to create an almost surreal environment and a stunning piece. Make sure to catch their first release out on March 25th on Jakarta Records.
