SXSW 2016: 5 Shows We Would Have Put Together (If We Had Our Way)
SXSW is world renowned as the cultural hub of what’s new and cool in music and film. There are so many artists to see on literally every corner, and it makes sticking around at any one show for too long difficult to do for fear of missing something great (FOMO, if you will...) The wonderful people at SX make up for this with a ton of shows with very eclectic, diverse lineups that make each one interesting and unique that please a wide array of music fans. We thought it’d be fun to put together a list of some groups that didn’t get to perform together but we think would have complemented each other really well.
1) Honne x ASTR x Transviolet
We were so happy to catch Transviolet’s set at the Bud Light Factory this year. They were an innovative brand of rock music that was ethereal yet made you want to bob your head and dance. Pair that with Honne’s live indie R’n’B sounds and ASTR’s infectious synth pop and you would have a dreamy night that would want to dance the night away with someone.
