Producer, The Dream, boasts $15 million for Rihanna's Umbrella track
Producer The Dream, also known as Terius Nash, has revealed that he bagged an estimated $15 million for his work on Rihanna’s hit song Umbrella. Nash, who was in London visiting Rihanna on her recent Loud tour playfully told DJ Tim Westwood in a recent interview on Radio 1Xtra that each “ella” in the 2007 song’s lyrics is worth half a million dollars. Other listed collaborators on the track include Jay-Z, Kuk Harrell and ‘Tricky’ Stewart. The songwriter-producer also wrote Justin Bieber’s Baby and other high-profile artists he has worked with include Beyonce and Mariah Carey.
