The debate on same sex marriage and equality has gained momentum, and a lot of musicians have begun exploiting it in their music. Some messages more genuine than others.
Shura, the London based vocalist, seems one of the genuine ones. The video for her new song, Touch, does an almost perfect job of depicting love as is. Her inclusion of same sex couples in the video doesn’t feel at all try hard –she’s really just singing about lost love (not a boy or girl, just love)
She’s telling us, ‘Love has no gender, no color, it just is. It is love, and that’s exactly how we felt about Shura, the moment we heard the opening line, “There is a love between us still but somethings changed.”
