Maggie Rogers Releases Major Label EP, Plays Late Night TV
Maryland noise-maker, Maggie Rogers, has now got her major label debut EP available for your listening pleasure. The beautifully-titled Now That the Light Is Fading contains the new and old.
Maggie Rogers is the Tidal Artist To Watch (RISING) for 2017 and there is plenty of talent to back that up on this new release. The EP contains the 2016 Pharrell-raved hit "Alaska" and the previous released singles "On + Off" and "Dog Years." The three have already racked up an impressive 136 million plays combined across all listening platforms. Other than the singles we see two new ones in the form of "Color Song" and "Better." "Color Song" is the definition of the word unique by being just a track that consists of Maggie's layered vocals and the sounds of animals in nature. "Better," on the other hand, is chilled down with ear-perking keyboard tones that will make you feel a certain way.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon had the chance to be graced by the presence of Rogers last night. The 22-year old wowed the audience as she presented her most famed "Alaska."
