Louis Futon Leaves Us ‘Zoned Out’ With New Mix
Louis Futon has been making his name on the dance music scene for some time now, and he’s finally starting to get the exposure and recognition he deserves. His latest mixtape premiered on Billboard is 45 minutes of stellar tunes, showing off his chops as a DJ, curator, and producer. Featuring many of his own originals and remixes, it’s a great jumping off point for those of you who are just hearing him for the first time and want to get your feet wet in his sound.
The first half of the mix focuses on his house material, getting us primed for a summer of dancing. The latter half slows things down with some downtempo and seriously chilled trap beats. His eclecticism can’t be matched, and we are totally psyched to catch him on his upcoming North American tour this spring. Make sure to catch him at Rough Trade in Brooklyn on April 30th, and be on the lookout for this rising star to dominate the EDM scene in the coming months and years.
