LA's Girlpool Bring Raw and Raucous Folk-Punk
Girlpool is a two-piece folk punk band from Los Angeles. The all-girl, drummer-less band is made up of Cleo Tucker and Harmony Tividad. So far, they have put out two albums: Girlpool (2014) and Before The World Was Big (2015). Their music ranges from jarring and raucous, like in “Before The World Was Big,” to softer, acoustic tracks like “Chinatown” and “Cut Your Bangs,” their wonderfully reimagined rendition of Radiator Hospital’s song.
