LANY Will Give You Major Feels With Debut EP, "Make Out"
LANY, a 3-piece Los Angeles-based band (Paul Klein, Les Priest and Jake Goss), have dropped their very special debut EP today. Titled Make Out and released via Polydor Records, the project is full of oscillating vibrations and spaced-out sounds, setting the scene for vocalist Paul Klein's sultry vocals. The band previewed Make Out earlier this week with their first single, "Kiss". Paul says,
"This song is about liars. It's about people who don't have the balls to tell you the legitimate truth. They'll water it down, beat around the bush, spin it whatever way they have to. They're probably scared to tell you what really happened or how they really feel because they 'love you.' But they actually just love themselves."
Similar to "Kiss", tracks like "ILYSB" and "Walk Away" take you on an audial journey through troubles of heartbreak in a more-so lighthearted way... The aesthetic of the project falls together quite nicely. Listen closely and you'll be sure to pick up on their theme. In addition to this outbreak release, a big congratulations to LANY as they begin a UK arena tour opening for pop sensation Ellie Goulding. Peep the tour dates below.
