Kygo and Parson James: the ones that "Stole The Show"
The tropical-dance DJ and Producer from Norway is known for discovering Avicii and his over 40 million views of his remix to Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire". But the genius collaboration with newcomer but heavy-hitter Parson James is a reason to celebrate all week. The new track is an original masterpiece carefully constructed by Kygo to build your heart rate as if entering battle and then giving you sweet release as you leave a survivor. Compounded with James' conviction of suffered yet hopeful vocals, "Stole the Show" is a one-up for R&B and EDM collaborations.
Parson James is a quickly rising singer in his own lane of "conflicted Pop Gospel". In addition to working with Kygo, his feature in Audien's "Insomnia" is proving his potential for international stardom. A formidable formula has been constructed for James by Saiko Management (Lorde) and Tim Blacksmith (publishing), with the lineup of incredible collaborations he has delivered so far and by sending James to ULTRA Music Festival where he and Kygo will close the show out with their epic new single (above). Another promising talent will join them at the festival, Conrad Sewell, a young prodigy slated to revamp the Rock and Alternative music lanes.
