Justin Stein Promises Us Some 'Loving On The Weekday'...

Popular

Seeing the stress that his girlfriend was under from dealing with the demands of a new job, Chicago singer/songwriter Justin Stein was inspired to step into the studio and come up with a little offering to brighten up her day, 'I wanted to find some way to help her...it upset me to see her so stressed', the resulting 'Loving On The Weekday' being 'about taking a moment to do something fun…something easy and stress relieving...everyone lets off steam on the weekends, but we still need a little 'Loving On The Weekday', the track's uplifting vibe mixing the celebratory instincts of euphoric pop with an infectiously funky get-up-and-dance groove as Stein's smooth, falsetto brushed vocals sing of momentarily escaping the day's burdens, 'I'll give you what you need, let me make it better, I can make it better'.

Stein was performing from a young age, writing his own songs by the age of ten, and at the same age he was invited to perform on the Rosie O'Donnell Show. Making an early start in the studio while in high school, he had released an album by the age of eighteen and went on to tour the country as an opening act for artists such as Jordin Sparks, Jesse McCartney, Corbin Bleu and Raven-Symone, while also receiving an invitation at attend The Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at NYU. Counting amongst his inspirations the likes of Otis Redding, John Legend and James Brown, his greatest influences have been Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder, influences he has channeled as he has honed his skills performing on the New York music scene, including an appearance at Sol Village last year.

Took my daughter to see Corbin Bleu @ Dupage County Fair back in 2008. Justin was the opening act, absolutely loved the sound, ended up purchasing his cd. My daughter met him after the show and he was just the nicest ever. She remembers him to this day and still listens to his music.
