JP Cooper's World Spins As He Waits 'Five More Days'
When you are as acclaimed for your talent as U.K. singer-songwriter JP Cooper, a busy schedule is something that comes with the territory. Having established himself as one of he brightest talents to have emerged from the U.K. in recent years with his confessionally intimate songwriting and stunningly soulful voice, a full diary is not an unfamiliar reality for Cooper. With recent months having featured writing sessions on both sides of the Atlantic for his debut album along with a stop at SXSW, Cooper is now looking forward to sharing his music at the Bestival, T in The Park and Victorious festivals later in the year, before heading out on another U.K. headlining tour in October.
Such demand, of course, is a reflection of the incredible talent that Cooper possesses: emotionally literate, maturely observant and sensitively articulate, Cooper's heartfelt lyricism is delivered by an intimately soulful and tenderly moving vocal that resonates with truly breathtaking wonder. Returning here to his hometown, Manchester, to follow up with visuals for the recent release of his first music for 2016, 'Five More Days', Cooper - joined by Avelino - finds his world in a spin as he grapples with an ever present struggle to make ends meet.
