Jonny Jack Dreams Of 'Forever More'
Gritty, rasp-flecked and soulfully expressive, Scottish singer-songwriter Jonny Jack's voice is the perfect conduit for his passionate and uninhibited desire to make music that is rooted in honest and meaningful emotional expression. First catching our attention several years ago, he has continued in the time since to hone the insight, maturity and sensitivity of his 'heart-on-the-sleeve' sound - a sound he describes as 'bristling with soul, youthful vigor and big tent pop hooks' - while making musical strides on the Glasgow and London live scenes.
Serving his musical apprenticeship with the required dedication and determination to accompany his obvious talent, he has graced the stage at The Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow and The Troubadour in London along with garnering BBC Radio support and playing a string of sold out shows throughout 2015. Having recently been in the process of recording his upcoming EP, here Jack gives a taste of what to expect with the organ accents, pop-soul polish and shiny brass of 'Forever More's yearning for an estranged love as the soulful grit in his voice pines for the object of his affection with an intensely felt urgency.
