JJ Rosa Introduces Herself By Releasing the 'Live At The Deaf Institute' EP
We recently featured Warner Brothers and S-Curve Records signee JJ Rosa, and she has just officially introduced herself to the music scene by releasing her EP 'Live At The Deaf Institute', recorded live in the ballroom of the famed Manchester music venue. The UK singer/songwriter and guitarist, who was introduced by her parents at age fourteen to Motown, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, is described as 'bouncing between sumptuous soul, psychedelic rock and pop-orientated hip-hop', and brings with her a distinctive, raw, raspy voice that caught the attention of Joss Stone/Robbie Williams collaborator Daniel Pierre, and subsequently saw her going on to sign with S-Curve Records in 2011, and then Warner Brothers in 2012. Since then she has busied herself working with producers including Steve Booker (Duffy) and Dan Carey (Bat For Lashes), and having just released her 'Live At The Deaf Institute' EP, is working towards both a studio EP and her debut album.
