Jacob Banks Finds A 'Silverlining'
Back after a time away to recalibrate his creativity, the U.K's Jacob Banks has been reminding in recent weeks of his remarkable talent. Showcasing the power and grandeur of his magnificent vocals with the emotional gravitas of 'Monster' and 'Grace', Banks has continued to prove that he is capable of creating some of the most compelling music to be heard on the contemporary scene. Ahead of the release of his 'Paradox' EP, Banks returns with the powerful emotion and astonishing vocals of the Silkey-produced 'Silverlining', saying 'I wrote this while going through a time when I hated everything and I wasn't content with a lot of things in my life, but over time I learned to celebrate the things that matter and focus my energy on those things'. Written through inspiration from visuals taken from 'Perks Of A Wallflower', Banks explains 'when I write, I tend to write to films or any visual references to reciprocate my emotion', and the stunning result is testament to his ability to channel the most exquisite of nuances and deeply felt truths.
