Half The Animal Shares Magical "Saturday Night" Studio Video
If the name doesn't peak your interest then the music surely will. Half The Animal is a Los Angeles-based group that simply, without any fluffy exaggerated media adjectives, makes feel good music.
The latest is a live studio recording of the single "Saturday Night" from STRZ Enterprises Studios in LA. The video of course has plenty of shots of the band playing in a fluorescently-accented space but it also features scenes of the members out goofing off throughout the city. Walking in the middle of the road with each other, skateboarding near the beach, and lounging around the pool with inflatable flamingos is really all these guys need to live their lives to the fullest.
Here's what the group had to say about their pop vocalized, funky guitar driven track:
"‘Saturday Night’ is a reference to that particular feeling, which doesn't necessarily have to be a relationship, it can be that fix in your life that keeps you coming back for more, because everyone loves a good Saturday night.”
A random fact about Half The Animal is that singer Chase Johnson and drummer Nick Gross were both characters on the MTV hit series, Laguna Beach. That notoriety led to the domino effect of landing a deal with major label Sony/Epic and touring. Half The Animal's career is ready to sky-rocket.
