Hal Linton reveals 'Technicolor' to lucky fans
Following up the breakthrough success of his previous 'The Rock & Roll Experiment' mixtape, which garnered more than 12,000+ downloads in Spring 2010, the Barbadian singer/songwriter Hal Linton is gearing up for the release of his anticipated project titled 'Technicolour'.
Tucked away in Manhattan's Upper East Side, Hal Linton held a special listening party for "Technicolor", which was sponsored by Hennesey on Monday night (September 10th). With drinks flowing and an exciting buzz floating throughout the venue among the attendees which included bloggers and executives alike, Linton curated the event well as he explained that "Technicolor" was a project he'd done the majority of the writing and producing on. He wanted to put a piece of life on each track in hopes that his audience could relate to the content, and there's a little something for everyone on the compilation.
From his favorite song which addresses infidelity ("Cheaters") to "Memory Loss" - a ballad that will receive the video treatment as the visual drops Tuesday (September 11th) - and "Critical Condition", a song that is deeply rooted in his Carribean heritage and boasts a writing credit from fellow Barbadian Shontelle, "Technicolor" is seemingly a great R&B piece of work that music fans will be sure to enjoy. You'll have to find out just how great it is when "Technicolor" drops on Wednesday September 12th!
