FRANKIE Has Us Dancing in a "Dreamstate" With New EP
Even though summer is almost over, Frankie lets us know that there is always time for a good summer anthem. Inspired by the powerful female artists of the 70's and music of the 90's, her Dreamstate EP, set for release on August 28th, is full of catchy, head-bopping tunes that will fill your fall days with sweet memories of joyful summer.
Included on Dreamstate are her viral hits, New Obsession and Problems, Problems, two songs that are guaranteed to be stuck in your head (and maybe sung in the shower). Problems, Problems has already gained 1.4 million Spotify streams, while Billboard included the more upbeat New Obsession on their “20 Pop Songs You Need for Your Summer Playlist”. These two songs set the tone for the rest of the EP, as their heavy eclectic pop carries throughout the entire EP, before culminating in the slower, piano plucking tune of Chaos. It is this last track that features Frankie’s vocals more prominently, and her astounding voice truly shines through, never losing its optimistic tone. This exuberance promises to carry us through the drudging days of winter until sunny summer returns. Luckily, she will take the exuberance beyond LA, as she plans to tour other cities next year.
