EVENT RECAP: Wynter Gordon, Travie McCoy, and XV take over SOBs with Hennessy Artistry
The trio, Travie McCoy, Wynter Gordon, and XV, might come from entirely different genre's but each of them did their part in contributing to the Hennessy Artistry event. The program, Artistry GIVES, was designed to raise funds to keep the arts alive in public schools. Wynter went straight to the point and mentioned why she was there. "A lot of music education which a lot of schools need these days" are cutting back because public schools are not able to afford it within their yearly budgets.
As for the show, Wynter performed her energetic single "Dirty Talk", "Till Death", and "Toyfriend". During her last performance she geared up and entertained the audience with a black whip. I guess you can say it was a bit out of the norm, but the audience seemed to dig her style. Next up on stage was rapper XV with his current single "Nevermind". Travie McCoy finally made his on-stage appearance where he performed "Dr. Feel Good", "We’ll Be Alright", and the fan-favorite "Billionaire". The night was packed with exclusive contests, free Hennessy drinks, free Travie McCoy albums, and a sold out venue. The next Hennessy Artistry event will feature Miguel and Erin Christine!
