EDEN Is Genuine With "drugs"
What a trek "drugs" by EDEN takes you on.
We'll break it down like this. It begins with strummed out electric guitar chords but transitions into synth bass and EQ'ed/distorted vocals. From there, the layering comes in along with a tight beat and pulsating upper melodic lines. Throughout the 5+ minute song, what stands out most is the moodiness. It consists of anthemic instrumentation one second and next thing you know, the moments all die down. Appropriately enough, and to our satisfaction, the track ends in perfect fashion having only piano play out the end, ending on a zenful note. For us, this somber keyboard ending gives you time to reflect on what you just listened to.
"drugs" is found on EDEN's EP i think you think too much of me (out August 19, 2016 on Astralwerks). The 20 year old from Dublin will embark on The Futurebound Tour in celebration of the new music with the release. Tell us what you think about the latest track!
