Cruel Youth Tell A Hazey Story in "Mr. Watson" Video
Remember Teddy Sinclair, one of the reputable co-writers on Rihanna's hit, "Kiss It Better?" She's taken her talents and curated a stellar trio of females that call themselves Cruel Youth. Rounding these gals up, the three have presented a unique and captivating approach to their artistry; today's release is a perfect example of such.
Visuals for their track, "Mr. Watson," dropped and it pairs with the soundscape perfectly. Sinclair is seen prancing around a carnival, riding roller coasters and lounging in a dimly lit room. But the song explains more than what meets the eye --
"Mr. Watson is a narcotic lullaby I wrote with my husband Willy after he suspected that Oxy was my one true love instead of him. I wanted to fly back to England and shoot the video at Blackpool Pleasure Beach (where I went to escape the boredom of my childhood), but since we live in New York, we shot the video at Coney Island, where we used to get high on the rides..." she told The FADER.
