The Bright Career Of Bonnie McKee Shines In "Easy"
Brilliant songwriter, Bonnie McKee, is no stranger to writing catchy hits. Notably she has writing credits on Katy Perry’s songs “Teenage Dream,” “California Gurls,” “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” “Part of Me,” “Wide Awake,” and “Roar” and Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite.” All in all she has been nominated for eight BMI Pop Music Awards.
The latest from Bonnie McKee under her own name is her EP Bombastic (released June 30th, 2015) and a music video for “Easy” that was released only a few days ago. All of the songs have been released as singles.
The visual for “Easy” takes us on a fantasy dream that heavily consists of neon blue and pink colors as McKee dances around and feels the music in her soul. The lovely pop tune goes by the classic rules of build-up verses to memorable choruses with a perfectly-utilized bridge to change things up.
”I need something easy.”
