Blue Soda (pt. 2) Caps Off Pomo's Appearance on Bastard Jazz Series, "Tempo Dreams"
Following a bubbly introduction last week, Pomo has revealed the second half of "Blue Soda" - a funkily carbonated track exploring sounds of electro flairs that create a retro atmosphere. This two-part project from the Vancouver producer could be heard on a brand new compilation series from Brooklyn-based label Bastard Jazz, Tempo Dreams Vol. 4, set for release March 26th.
The compilation, presented as "Pomo Presents," includes appearances from producers and musicians fitting the project like a glove. Of these include talents like Lindsay Lowend & Jonah Baseball, ExMag, GeoTheory and plenty others.
Most recently, Pomo was nominated for the "Electronic Album of the Year" JUNO Award for 2014 release, The Other Day. He's also landed a production spot on Anderson Paak's most highly-praised single, "Am I Wrong," and is set to conquer a second tour with Disclosure this year.
Listening to "Blue Soda" (part one and two) will have you unashamedly groove drunk. You can even grab it physically as a 7" tomorrow, February 5th.
