Create common ground for fans of multiple genres
Trophy Eyes will seemingly tour with anybody. In the past they've toured with pop-punk bands such as Neck Deep, Seaway, and Knuckle Puck but the tour they are currently on is totally different. They are currently sharing a tour package with three bands that are each within some vein of hardcore: the Amity Affliction, Being As An Ocean, and Hundredth. I was luckily enough to attend their show at the Webster Hall Grand Ballroom in NYC and watched as people who definitely never heard of the band before be transformed into fans. People were skeptical at first but by the time the last songs were being play mostly everyone was at least bobbing their head.
It was also very special to see how far the band has come from playing shows in front of 10-20 people to opening a show in a venue that has a 1,500 capacity. The crowd size doesn't factor into how good their performance will be though. Obviously, the more crowd participation, the more fun the show will be, but Trophy Eye always puts on a good show of intensity.
